These are two examples that I have WRITTEN and GRADED!

The rubric below tells you what each paragraph would get as a grade.

Mi Primer Párrafo  Here’s a GOOD example:

Put away EVERYTHING BUT YOUR NOTECARD.   Then, please write paragraph of AT LEAST SIX sentences that tells about your FAVORITE CLASS! You can talk about:

• Which class is your favorite?
• What do you do in that class? Yo ______ -AR+ O

AND Nosotros _______-AR  + AMOS

• Who teaches the class?
• When do you have that class?
• What is that class like?
• Why do you like that class/how do you feel about it/the teacher/etc?

________Mi clase favorita es la clase de drama.   Señor Marks enseña la clase de drama. Yo tengo la clase de drama en la quinta hora. La clase de drama es divertida y muy fácil.  Yo hablo con mis amigos y escucho a la música en la clase de drama.    Me gusta la clase de drama MUCHO. PARAGRAPH SCORING RUBRIC:

OVERALL
Sentence spelled correctly, in preterit tense, punctuation, accents, etc.	25/25 puntos
Uses at least 2 different people/endings = 5 pts each.   (Yo and él/ella) enseña + hablo + escucho!	10/10 puntos
Complete paragraph (all 6 sentences) = 10 puntos	10/10 puntos
	So, 45_ out of 45
For Each Sentence:
Makes sense all together = 2 puntos	12 /12 puntos
Uses correct gender agreement = 1 punto quinta, divertida	6/6 puntos
Verbs are conjugated correctly in the present tense = 1 punto	6/6 puntos
Uses any vocabulary or new words correctly = 1 punto	6/6 puntos
DO NOT USE THE SAME VERB MORE THAN TWICE!	So, _30_ out of 30
Total, out of 75 points:	____75/75__ :D!

For Each Sentence:
Makes sense all together = 2 puntos	12 /12 puntos
Uses correct gender agreement = 1 punto favorita = :), but SÉPTIMO should be “a” to match “hora”. Plus, “AWESOME” is in ENGLISH!!! :’(	3/6 puntos
Verbs are conjugated correctly in the present tense = 1 punto 4 are correct, “enseñar” isn’t, & 1 is missing!	4/6 puntos
Uses any vocabulary or new words correctly = 1 punto	3/6 puntos
DO NOT USE THE SAME VERB MORE THAN TWICE!	So, _22_ out of 30
