La agenda de jueves, el 11 de febrero 2016

¡Hola hola, clase!  Here is our presentation that we used in class today!  (¡Usamos esta presentación hoy!) 

  • Calentamiento
    • Please take out your SAMs, your NOTEBOOKS, the new vocab, and your HORARIOS from yesterday!!
      • Then, on TABLE side of the HORARIOS sheet, CHECK that you WROTE EN ESPAÑOL:  
      • the correct name for each class in Spanish
      • the correct label for each HOUR in Spanish (1st, 2nd)
      • & the correct name of the teacher for that class!
    • THEN, IF YOU HAVE TIME:
      • one ADJECTIVE describing how that class IS
      • one VERB describing what you do in that class
    • Remember the things we didn't know how to say:
      • CLASSES:
      • Guitar:          la clase de guitarra     
      • Drama:  drama   (o: la clase de actuación)
      • Coding:       codificación    *Band:      la banda (de conciertos)
      • Computer programming:        programación de computadoras OR programación informática
      • Technology:  tecnología        *Health:  salúd 
      • Geography:  geografía *DESIGN:  diseño
      • Geometry: geometría     *P.E:  educación física
      • Choir:   el coro *AVID: AVID
      • ACTIVITIES:
      • do experiments:          hacer → hago los experimentos 
      • create maps:  crear → creo los mapas 
      • acting:  actuar → actuo
      • typing: tipear / escribir por máquina: escribo por máquina
      • aprender:  aprender → aprendo
      • usar la computadora:  usar → uso la computadora
      • to play (instr.):  tocar → toco  to play (games):  jugar → juego
  • Then, let's FILL IN the remaining two columns!!
    • You KEEP GOING to re-create your schedule, IN SPANISH!
      • the correct name for each class in Spanish
      • the correct label for each HOUR in Spanish (1st, 2nd)
      • & the correct name of the teacher for that class!
    • THEN, using your NEW VOCAB, write 
      • one ADJECTIVE describing how that class IS
      • one VERB describing what you do in that class
      • USE THE INFINITIVE (keep the AR, ER, or IR for now!)
    • Again, USE YOUR VOCAB SHEET -- but if there’s something you don’t know how to say, please ask!!
  • Together, we went through the questions -- we'll get back to them next week!
