- Take out your HORARIOS
- and make sure they’re DONE!
- Take out the ENTREVISTA sheet!
- Check that IT is done, too!!!
- Prioridades:
- Did you do the BUQUE DE GUERRA sheet? If not, you can do only 3 lines and get late credit (7/10 points)
- DID YOU DO the HORARIO from last week?
- Did you ANSWER THE FIRST FOUR QUESTIONS, in SPANISH?
- Then, get ready to answer QUESTION 5 -- using CONJUGATED “AR” verbs!
- (IF YOU ARE ALREADY DONE, please INTERVIEW 1-2 other person/people!)
- Los horarios:
- Let's answer that last question -- ¿Qué haces en la clase de…?
- In order to talk about what YOU do, you have to conjugate the verb.
- To conjugate a verb means to CHANGE the infinitive so that it agrees with the subjects of your sentence.
- We change the verb ending for EVERY PERSON in Spanish.
- TO conjugate a verb to the "yo" form in Spanish, remember:
- TAKE OFF THE AR/ER/IR ending and
- add -o for “yo” to the ROOT to talk about what "I" do
- So, the Spanish phrase "yo hablo" means “I speak”.
- Use your vocab sheet to decide what you do in your favorite class!
- Verbs we didn't know:
- do experiments: hacer → hago los experimentos
- create maps: crear → creo los mapas
- acting: actuar → actuo
- typing: tipear / escribir por máquina: escribo por máquina
- aprender: aprender → aprendo
- usar la computadora: usar → uso la computadora
- to play (instr.): tocar → toco to play (games): jugar → juego
- Then, we used these sheets to WRITE OUR ROUGH DRAFTS!!

- Writing our FIRST paragraph!
- ANSWER IN SPANISH:
- What is YOUR favorite class?
- When do you have that class?
- What do you do in that class?
- → use at least one CONUGATED VERB describing the activity you can also talk about what YOU ALL do (We ---- in __ class!)
- How is that class (What is that class like? → use at least one ADJECTIVE describing how that class IS)
- Who teaches that class? → the correct name of the teacher for that class!
- If there’s something you don’t know how to say, please ask!!
La tarea: Finish your COMPLETE PARAGRAPH with 6 sentences, IN SPANISH!! Turn it in ASAP!!
