El día último del primer semestre; jueves, el 14 de enero, 2016

¡Hola hola, clase!  Here is our presentation that we used in class today!  (¡Usamos esta presentación hoy!)

    • Please take out your sheets!
      • QUICK CHECK! Have you…
      • turned in Parts A & B?
      • finished and turned in Part C?
    • Work time priorities
      • I am done writing my sentences for Parts A, B, and C
      • I made a Copy of the El Libro Slides file and shared it with Ms. Williams
      • I typed in the information about each of my 4 people, as well as myself, on the appropriate slide.
      • I inserted photos, illustrations from Storyboardthat.com, OR drew the important people
      • I COMPLETED MISSING WORK!
      • I went to the blog for our class to play SPANISH REVIEW GAMES!   sanfordspan1.blogspot.com OR introtowl.blogspot.com
    • To find your book, 
    • DELETE Ms. WILLIAMS' TEXT!
      • Follow the instructions!!
        • You can use one of her suggestions for a title, or use your own.
        • On the BACK COVER, design your own cover -- or use some of the "Praise for" your book that Ms. Williams provided!
        • For each slide, TYPE UP the sentences about EACH PERSON!   So, take the PERSONA #1/#2/#3/#4 sentences from Parts A, B, and C (and D, if you did it) and TYPE THEM INTO THE SAME PART!
      • Then, when you're ready, you can insert/draw pictures.
        • If you want to use Storyboardthat.com, for your pictures, you can just use the ‘Snipping Tool’ (Command + Shift + 4) to choose what you want, and copy and paste it into your Google Slides!
      • For more help, here are some GAMES!

      LA TAREA (written in your SAM) -- Finish up typing up Parts A, B, and C, as well as putting in pictures of your loved ones  (OR  DRAW pictures of yourself and your important people)!!


      The NEW VOCAB sheet will be due when we get back on February 10.  

      Ms. Williams will print out what you have shared with her during the break; you can pick them up on Wednesday when we get back!!

          • 1. Go to GOOGLE CHROME - if you need to, go to the magnifying glass and search for “Chrome” to open it! 2. Then, please go to the address bar, and type in “http://tinyurl.com/librode”. 3. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SIGNED IN! Then, click “File” and “Make a Copy”!
          • 4. Then, delete “Copy of” and replace the _____line with YOUR Spanish name, instead! 5. Last, go to “Share” in the top right hand corner and share with Ms. Williams → catherinewilliams@mpls.k12.mn.us

          La agenda de martes, el 5 de enero

            • Please take out your pencils, SAMs, notebooks, and your IMPORTANT PEOPLE sheets!
            • Who are your 4 people, aside from yourself?
            • EX:    Mary → mi mamá (mom)

            • Please LABEL each person and his or her relationship to you, in Spanish, using the following list:
            • Family members and Friends:
              • mom → mamá dad → papá
              • brother → el hermano sister → la hermana
              • friend (guy) → el amigo friend (girl) → la amiga
              • aunt → la tía uncle → el tío
              • grandmother → la abuela  grandfather → el abuelo
              • nephew → el sobrino niece → la sobrina
              • boy cousin → el primo girl cousin → la prima
              • parents → los padres siblings → los hermanos
              • foster mother   → la madre adoptiva OR la madre de guarda
          • Use these for Part B!
            • Use the rest of the hour to finish Part B -- the part you got yesterday!!
              • Check yo’ self!!   Periods, accents, tildes (~) and CAPS!
              • Make sure you add an -s on the end of anything that is plural.  Ejemplo: pantalones rojos
            • Make sure you change any adjective that ends with -o to an -a  to match female/girl things!  
              • Ejemplo: bufanda rosada
            • By the END OF TODAY, you should have FOR EACH PERSON: 3 Descriptions of Personality (part A), 3 Hair/Eyes/Height (Part B), and 3 Likes/Dislikes (Part C)!!
          • WRITE YOUR SENTENCES!!
            • For each of your 4 people (and yourself), answer the questions:
              • A: ¿Cómo es? --> What is this person like?
              • 1. ¿Qué color de OJOS tiene? --> What color eyes does he/she have?
              • 2. ¿Qué tipo de PELO tiene? --> What kind of hair does he/she have?
              • 3. ¿Es alto o bajo? --> Is he/she tall or short?

          ¡Hola hola, clase!  WELCOME BACK!!!  I hope you had a great break!  ¡Here is our presentation that we used in class today!  (¡Usamos esta presentación hoy!)

            • Please take out your pencils, SAMs, notebooks, (and proof you studied)!
            • Then, please LABEL the parts of the body, using the key on the front!
          • Let's work on writing sentences to describe people!
            • YO TENGO --> I have
            • ÉL/ELLA TIENE --> he/she has
            • Los ojos --> eyes
            • El pelo --> hair
            • And don't forget that the ADJECTIVE COMES AFTER!! 
          • Notes on TENER
            • Just like we took notes on the verb ser, "to be", and how it changes (or its "conjugations") we took notes on tener today!
              • To talk about the number/kind of eyes/hair/etc. someone has, we use the verb TENER.
              • Tener means “to have” -- you need to change, or conjugate, the verb tener in order for it to mean “I have” or “He/She has”.
                • This is an important verb to know for our Mini-Book project!
