¡Hola hola, clase!  Happy last day of Rotation B!!  ¡Aquí está la presentación de hoy!

  • Calentamiento
    • ¡Saquen ustedes el vocabulario y sus SAMs!
    • Please write in your SAM: BEFORE NOVEMBER 2nd: 
      • please create PHYSICAL proof you studied, such as
        • flashcards
        • a signed note from a parent, guardian, or trusted adult,
        • OR
        • a picture illustrating the words!
  • Expectations for proof you studied
    • If you haven’t yet, please label each section or each word:
      • What you already know (with a checkmark or :D!)
      • What you remember but need to review (**)
        • If you just need to work on SPELLING, you can write SP
      • What you haven’t learned or don’t remember learning (use a ?? or other symbol)
    • Make a flashcard/get PROOF you studied for every word with **, SP, or ??
  • Let’s correct the quizzes!!
    • I will show what
      I am doing, silently, on the camera.   
    • If you have questions, please quietly raise your hand!
    • Quiz self-correction is worth 25 quiz/test score points!
  • ¡LA CELEBRACIÓN DEL DÍA DE LA RAZA!
    • If you have time, please take a handout and read about el Día de la raza!

La Tarea: Please create PROOF YOU STUDIED by NOVEMBER 2nd, when I see you next!

Proof you studied:
  • physical FLASHCARDS for every word with **, SP, or ??,  
  • a trusted adult signature on your Vocab Sheet stating what you did to study, 

  • OR 
  • draw a picture with all of the different actions and LABEL it in Spanish!!

      • Do you have any questions from yesterday?
      • Quick Check:  WHICH WORDS THAT WE’VE LEARNED SO FAR HAVE ACCENTS/TILDES?

      • We will have a quick review, and then finish taking yesterday's quiz!
  • Review: EXPECTATIONS FOR TEST-TAKING IN SPANISH CLASS:
    • Remember: 
    • I don’t want there to be any doubt that you did what you did ON YOUR OWN, the best you could.
    • SO, to make sure, HERE ARE MY EXPECTATIONS:
      • if you need to get up, PLEASE RAISE YOUR HAND FIRST.  Ms. Williams can come get your pencil; just raise your hand!!
      • if you have a question, please ask, QUIETLY.  The worst that can happen is Ms. Williams says “I can’t tell you that.”
      • Other than that, there is ABSOLUTELY NO TALKING.
      • YOU MAY ONLY GET UP WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED!
  • If you are FINISHED with your quiz, here are your priorities: Get a VOCABULARY SHEET as well as the REALIDADES page with the translations!!
    1. think of the things you like to do (in English).
    2. FLIP OVER YOUR VOCAB SHEET →
      1. You’re going to write on the blank side!
    3. figure out how to say “I like to (do those things) IN SPANISH!!
    4. please write 3-5 sentences that say “I like to ---.” and 1-2 sentences that say “I don’t like to ---.” IN SPANISH!
      THEN, IF you finish up your SENTENCES:
      6. please label each section or each word:
      • What you already know (with a √or :D!)

        • If you just need to work on SPELLING, you can write SP
      • What you haven’t learned or don’t remember learning (use a ?? or other symbol)
La Tarea:  Just finish filling in your vocabulary sheet!!  (Use the Realidades Page to complete the new vocabulary sheet!!)
