La agenda de lunes, el 28 de septiembre

¡Hola hola, clase!  I hope you had a phenomenal weekend!  ¡Aquí está la presentación de hoy!

  • Calentamiento
    • ¡Saquen ustedes la tarea y sus CUADERNOS!
      • Please take out any missing work, and your SPANISH NOTEBOOKS!
    • Then, go to a new page.  
      • Title the page  “Calentamiento”  (which means Warm Up, if you're new!!)
    • Then, using your vocab, please write down and answer: 
      • ¿Qué día es hoy?
      • ¿Cuál es la fecha?
      • ¿Cómo estás?
      • ¿Cómo te llamas? 
  • Quiz Preview:
    • Remember that, for the quiz on WEDNESDAY, you will be expected to know:
      • Greetings!
      • Goodbyes!
      • And how to ask and answer:
        • ¿Cómo te llamas? 
        • ¿Cómo estás? / ¿Cómo está usted?
      • EXTRA CREDIT - Know how to ask and answer:
        • ¿Qué día es hoy? 
        • ¿Cuál es la fecha?
    • Also:  here are the parts of the quiz:
      • Part A: CORRECTIONS (Like Friday's activity/the back of the Golden Sheet)
      • Part B: CAPTIONS (Caption the picture!)
      • Part C: CONVERSATION (Choose from a word bank to make the conversation make sense!)
      • Part D: QUESTIONS (answer the questions with your own ideas!
      • EXTRA CREDIT
      • If you need anything, please get a copy from the bins in the back, or from the links on this blog!
  • Study guides: don't forget to CORRECT YOURSELF!
    • As you go, please use your golden sheet to help make sure your answers are correct.

      You need to:
      • Capitalize & have the Correct Word Capitalización/Palabra Correcta (2 pt)
      • Order of words/Orden de las palabras (1 pt)
      • Verb/Verbo (1 pt)
      • Ending (for correct subject & AR/ER/IR ending) (3 pts)
      • Reflexive/impersonal/indirect/direct pronouns  (2 pts)
      • Tense/Tiempo (1 pt)
      • Accents & Diacritical Marks / Acentos (1 pt each)
      • Spelling/Deletreo (2 pts)
      • Adjective ending/Adjetivo (1 pt)
      • Punctuation/Puntuación (1 pt)
      • So, there are usually ~15 points total possible for each full sentence!!
  • Activity: ¡Agarra el dinosaurio!
    • We are going to make FOUR TEAMS!
      • ONE person on each team will come up to the board.
    • When Ms. Williams shows a flashcard, it is your job to:
      • GRAB THE DINOSAUR!
      • SAY THE SPANISH EQUIVALENT of what’s on the card, correctly.
      • DO NOT SPEAK unless you have the ball!
    • If the person with the dino gets it wrong, other teams can steal by saying the correct answer!
  • Study Guide Preview
    • We will use time in class to preview the study guide!
      • We will start with Part D, which is very close to our Calentamiento.
      • Then, we will move backwards to Parts C & B, making sure you don't have any questions!
    • Your only homework is this sheet!!
La Tarea:  Please complete the Study Guide!!


  • Complete the study guide page you received today!  Notice where you have to check your flashcards/sheet/notes!!
  • Then, go through and use your CORRECTION GUIDE to make sure you did a good job!!
